at Wheatley Idol Competition – Young People Who Rock!

Overall
Winner: Jennifer Morin (Age 19) Leamington
Jennifer
received the star-studded ultimate grand prize of a recording
demo package, valued at over $1,000. Prize
details under 'Prizes' tab. Morin has also been invited to
perform as a guest singer, Friday, Aug. 6, at the Comber Fair-
Western Fair Preliminaries.
A wonderful event enjoyed by a good audience and everyone
involved. Approximately 325 people came out to the largely
anticipated Wheatley Idol competition, which got underway on a
perfect weather day. MC Dustyn Janzen, Country afternoons 92.7
CJSP and Mix 96.7 'Indie Hour' radio host, kept everyone entertained and well
informed throughout the event. Celebrity Judges Nicole Barron,
Cordell Green, and Jim Heyens had a tough job with so much
amazing talent to choose from picking the top 3 in each age
category. Contestants came from all over
Southwestern Ontario to include Essex, Woodslee, Harrow,
Belle River, Cottam, Kingsville, Leamington, Wheatley, Blenheim,
Petrolia, Wallaceburg, and London.
CONGRATULATIONS goes out
to ALL our Wheatley Idol Winners, and performers for simply
getting up in front of a big crowd and putting their talent out
there for all to enjoy! Our sincere appreciation to all our
Sponsors and Supporters, the enthusiastic Volunteers, Partners and
Idol Contestants who helped make 2010 Wheatley Idol a success!!

Staley, recapping the recording package James won as the 2008 Wheatley Idol
